Taicang T&W’s 2019 Green Environmental Protection Public Welfare Activity Started Warmly
On May 12th (Mother’s Day), the 2019 green environmental protection public welfare activity with the theme of “Gathering and Running for Love” started warmly under the organization of Taicang T&W and T&W Charity Foundation, the support from the party branch of Taicang Hi-tech Zone Party Department, and the active support for participation of Taicang High-tech Zone Urban Management Detachment and Taicang High-tech Zone Human Resources & Social Security Bureau. Considering the arrangement and management of the event, the activity was limited to 220 people, yet the activity was positively responded to by the caring people and organizations inside and outside the Company since the sending of the notification. A total of 258 people from 13 teams enrolled, which had increased by 60% comparing with the last year. The activity raised nearly RMB 6,000 in donations, an increase of 78% over last year. As the day happened to be Mother’s Day, the organizers also presented carnations to the mothers on the scene. All the charity donations received in the activity would be used to purchase school supplies for the “children of the stars” in Taicang Special Education School. It is learnt that on the day of “June 1st”, the Company’s representatives will send “the children of the stars” gifts from the love gathering while visiting and consoling them.
