2020.04.30

On Apr. 24th, Zhang Xiaotao, VCEP General Manager, Song Wenjian and Tong Tong, Deputy General Manager, and others in the party visited T&W industrial plant in Pingshan for investigation and survey. Wang Dawei, Chairman of the company, Shen Kai, Production & Human Resource Administrative Deputy General Manager, and colleges from Legal Affairs and Securities Management Center attended the meeting.

First of all, Chairman Wang thanked leaders of VCEP for their assistance and support to our plant construction work in Vietnam, and also expressed the concern for political risk in Vietnam and the expectation of increasing investment to expand production capacity there. New infrastructure, industrial internet and 5G will be important pillars of Chinese economy in future. Chairman Wang hopes the company could respond to government’s call and follow the trend of the times to build the first intelligent unmanned factory in Vietnam.
General Manager Zhang Xiaotao said China and Vietnam are interdependent. As a pilot field of China foreign trade park, China-Vietnam (Shenzhen-Haifang) Economic Trade Cooperation Zone shoulders the important task of building the demonstration project of “the Belt and Road Initiative” and the “Two Economic Corridors and One Economic Circle around the Beibu Gulf”, thus political risk shall be preventable and controllable. General Manager Zhang Xiaotao also expressed it is encouraging to introduce high quality intelligent manufacturing enterprise as Bandao Electronics to the park, and highly praised the work efficiency of infrastructure, legal affairs and other departments, as the plant was completed and put into operation within 5 months, which set up a benchmark of the park and showed the speed of T&W. The park welcomes Bandao Electronics to increase investment to build an intelligent plant, and is also willing to provide support as much as possible. During the outbreak of the epidemic, the park will keep contact with Chinese embassy in Vietnam and Vietnam government to help solve the cross-border access problem encountered by enterprises in the park.
