On May 14th, the Guangdong Provincial Economic and Information Technology Commission initially determined the 2018 Guangdong Intelligent Manufacturing Pilot Demonstration Project after the enterprise application, prefectural and municipal recommendation and expert reviews. Bandao Share officially passed a series of selections and publicity by Guangdong Provincial Economic and Information Technology Commission, and was successfully selected into 2018 Guangdong Province Intelligent Manufacturing Pilot Demonstration Project (Pilot Demonstration of Intelligent Manufacturing of Communication Terminal Equipment), which is an recognition of the excellent manufacturing capabilities and advanced production processes of the Company.
The recent years have witnessed the accelerated boosting of the technological advantages of production centers in Xinqiao and Taicang Intelligent Manufacturing Bases, thus they are returning to the leading position of communication terminals, and building a demonstration base for precision benchmarks in South China. Gong Pusheng, the deputy general manager of the Company, led the technical experts of the two places to actively develop intelligent process technology research and development projects, promote the innovation of technical teams, and develop new development directions based on their own advantages and customer differences, so as to avoid waste caused by the overlap of development projects. At the same time, he mobilized the backbones of various departments, and focused the strength for an uphill battle as well as realized the independent research and development, and completed multiple automation, intelligent and information projects. It has achieved remarkable results and favorable growth in terms of reducing operating costs, shortening product development cycles, improving production efficiency, reducing product defect rate, as well as enhancing energy resource utilization and so on.
It is reported that the selection has been conducted to implement Made in China 2025 and Development Plan of Intelligent Manufacturing in Guangdong Province (2015-2025), promote the digitization of production equipment and intelligent production process of enterprises in Guangdong Province, and facilitate the in-depth integration of informationization and industrialization as well as accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry. The pilot demonstration projects are divided into six categories, namely process-based manufacturing, discrete manufacturing, intelligent manufacturing equipment, intelligent products, intelligent services and management, new business types and new models.
