At Tianlin Community Commemorating the 92nd Founding Anniversary of the Party and Spiritual Civilization Commending Conference on July 1, the community commended advanced characters and excellent collectives under its jurisdiction. Shanghai Bandao Telecom Technology Co., Ltd. was awarded with “Excellent Volunteers’ Collective”. The honor approved efforts of Shanghai Bandao Telecom to public welfare and praised its contribution to the society.
Shanghai Bandao Telecom has cooperated with Tianlin Neighborhood to develop various kinds of volunteers’ activities as a co-constructed unit of Tianlin Community, and made contributions to public welfare quietly and won appreciation from the community and common people for many years. The company participated in the volunteering projects such as Story Cabin, Greatest Love under the Blue Sky, Xuhui District Para Games, Tianlin Journey of Low Carbon and Environmental Protection etc. consecutively in 2003, and accumulated volunteers reached over 80, taking up 30% of the total personnel of the company. Volunteers visit houses for the elderly and orphans on Double Ninth Festival and Children’s Day every year, and they organized a condolence activity to celebrate Children’s Day for children of peasant workers with Aijianyuan Community and were highly praised by migrant parents.
