Winter approaches, and people in earthquake zones and plateau mountain areas will suffer from long and cold winter. With the mission of “repaying the society”, the company developed a series of works offering winter materials for Ya’an earthquake zones, Sichuan Hope Primary Schools ad plateau Tibetan areas.
In October, T&W Charity Foundation confirmed to donate winter clothes, blankets and traditional cultural books for 2,700 teachers and students from ten schools of Daxi Village, Lingguan Town, Baoxing County, Ya’an. Personnel of Charity Foundation came to Ya’an and offered donated materials to teachers and students at the end of October.
Meanwhile, the manager of General Manager Office of Shanghai Company Wei Wei mobilized women personnel in the four places to weave love scarves in person in order to let children in the two T&W Hope Primary Schools in Mabian and Wanyuan, Sichuan to spend a warm winter. Personnel in the four places responded actively, and weaved 511 scarves for children in plateau areas manually to display care and concern of the company and each personnel.
T&W Charity Foundation initiated the propose of “Sending Warmth in Winter, Donating Clothes and Offering Love” in the company, and donated winder clothes and materials for Diweiqiu Village, Dangba Town, Maerkang County, Plateau Tibetan Area, Sichuan Province on October 8.
