The fourth "Fly for Your Hope" Summer Camp
On July 25, Shenzhen and TaicangCompanies once again ushered72 students and 16 excellent teachers from eight T&W Hope Primary Schools. 88 teachers and students coming from afar started their seven-day trip of hope. On the morning of the 25th, the fourth "Fly for Your Hope" Summer Camp of T&W Hope Primary Schools was opened in the factories of Xinqiao and Taicang within the expectation. Shenzhen Factory received 46 teachers and students from 4T&W Hope Primary SchoolsfromEryuan, Dali and Xizhou, Dali of Yunnan Province, Mabianof Sichuan Province and Congjiangof Guizhou Province. While Taicang and Shanghai companies received 42 teachers and students from 4T&W Hope Primary Schoolsfrom Lixian County of Gansu Province, Zhenpingof Shaanxi Province, Wanyuanof SichuanProvice and Xishui ofGuizhouProvince. The company leaders including Wang Dawei, Gong Pusheng, QiuJianzhong, Wen Wanxing, Zhang Ping and Wang Shaocong etc. attended the opening ceremony.
Long Xiaojing -- Company Vice President andDirector of the Foundation expressed the ardent hope that all the students can be excellent and also take the lead to make others excellent as well. Chen Kai, Vice President of the Foundation and Camp Director of Shenzhen introduced the overall arrangement of the summer camp and wished all the students a full harvest in seven days. Company employees Zhou Liqing and Zhang Lili acted the class teachers of Shenzhen and Taicang camps respectively. The Summer Camp was divided into three stages: Open YourDreams, Nourish YourDreams and Fly for YourDreams. Chen Kai and Wang Liangjie, as the camp directors of Shenzhen andTaicang presented the flags for summer camprespectively. The summer camp this time ensured the fair result thateach of the students could be awarded with one item of star honor. The Awards of Star Honors include the Star of Etiquette, Star of Discipline, Star of Arts, Star of Writing, Star of Environmental Protection, Star of Helper, Star of Civilization, Star of Independence, Star of Cleanliness, Star of Knowledge and Star of Sports. Vice President Gong Pusheng warmly welcomedall teachers and students on behalf of both factories. He expressed his hope that they could came to the workshop to know about the advanced production and get to know more friends.
Two students from hope primary schools made theirpresentation on the stage. On the night before, after the students learned that they would speak in the opening ceremony, they allcarefully prepared the statement text in the dormitory. They carefully asked for advice from the teacher to make better statement, and recitedafterwards so that they can speak in the opening ceremony without referring to the text.
Chairman Wang Daweimade the concluding remarks. Wang hoped that all students could know the geographical locations of all eight primary schools and understand more geographical knowledge. Students should ensure two bettersin the summer camp; namely learn better and do better. It is both to play and to learn in the summer camp and there are too many aspects to learn. As long as you ask, we would have a lot to learn. At the same time we have to do better. We should try to practice the writing, painting and meeting good friendsjust mentioned,and more importantly we should behave the good habits also at home. It’s hoped that all the students can learn better and do better in the summer camp. You are not only yourself, but are also representing your school and even the image of your hometown.
The SummerCamp this time focuses on the combination of nature, science and technology, humanities and art, and helps the children to understand the worldoutside. Themed with "Learning civilization and etiquette and build your dreams of science and technology", the camps of the two sites carefully arranged the classrooms, dormitories and canteens so as to pave the solid starting point for children to fly towards their dreams.
